Edison Elementary School Black History Program: We Shall Overcome

Join us for our school-wide Black History Program, We Shall Overcome. Inspired by the current climate, this meaningful program centers on hope, unity, and resilience while highlighting the powerful contributions of African Americans throughout history and today.
This event provides an important educational experience for students, parents, and family members by deepening understanding of African American history, strengthening cultural awareness, and encouraging thoughtful conversations about perseverance and progress.
Guests are also invited to walk our halls and view informative, student-created display boards honoring influential African Americans who have made a lasting impact on society. We look forward to celebrating, learning, and growing together as a school community.
